Maison Valentino has unveiled its Cruise 2027 collection by Creative Director Alessandro Michele.

The collection brings together the House’s signature details and Michele’s distinctive preppy sensibility, spanning a diverse wardrobe that ranges from wearable everyday pieces to dramatic statement-making looks.

Cable-knit sweaters, striped shirts, tailored jackets, and denim evoke the world of student culture and classic preppy dressing. At the same time, vibrant pink pleated dresses, sequined eveningwear, and richly embellished looks featuring fur and embroidery introduce the romantic spirit long associated with Valentino.

Playful prints and embroidery bearing messages such as “VILLAIN TEEN” and “You can Come to my Villa” also stand out throughout the collection. Appearing on caps, tops, and accessories, these phrases inject a sense of irreverence into otherwise polished looks, reflecting the contrast between convention and rebellion that has become a hallmark of Michele’s creative language.

The collection also incorporates checked patterns and Animalier motifs inspired by the House archive. Reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, these references underscore Michele’s ongoing dialogue with Valentino’s history while introducing them to a new generation.
