Louis Vuitton has unveiled the Horizon Aluminum, the Maison’s first-ever suitcase crafted entirely from aluminum. The innovation behind the Horizon Aluminum extends beyond its material.

Instead of the ribbed grooves commonly found on aluminum luggage, the shell is embossed with Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram pattern. More than a decorative element, the pattern serves a structural purpose, reinforcing the strength of the suitcase itself.

The design also incorporates a series of technical innovations, including concealed hinges and hardware, as well as what Louis Vuitton describes as the world’s first screw-free aluminum suitcase construction.
