Following on from last season, HYKE's 2019-20 Autumn/Winter collection show was held at a warehouse in Tennozu Isle.
Rather than setting a theme for each season, Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Oide have consistently created works based on the attitude of "HERITAGE AND EVOLUTION" (evolving the history and heritage of clothing in a unique way through their own sensibilities). This season's collection once again showcases HYKE's contemporary sensibility, with a focus on reconstructed military wear.

The first look duffle coat features a supple, rounded silhouette created by gentle vertical cuts running through the bodice, raglan sleeves that follow the shoulders, and ample sleeve room. The lightness of the fringe skirt peeking out from the hem is striking. HYKE's cleverness lies in elevating military essence into elegance. The look is one that evokes admiration and the joy of enjoying fashion.
The collaboration between HYKE and The North Face, which began in Spring/Summer 2018, will reach its final season in its fourth year. Available in black and olive, the collection includes popular down outerwear, coats, hoodies, pants, neck gaiters, belts, leg warmers, and Nuptse Low. The logo is more subtle than last season. Men's and women's items continue to be offered, and for the first time in a HYKE show, men's models also walked the runway.

This season also sees the launch of a new collaboration with eyewear brand JULIUS TART OPTICAL. Many models wore the collection at the show. The collaboration with CHACOLI continues, with new eyewear holders and tote bags in two sizes made from new leather colors and wool materials. New ankle boots were also unveiled in collaboration with BEAUTIFUL SHOES, the brand created by Toshiyuki Takegahara.
