Prada has announced limited-edition items for its Dover Street Market New York store. The Prada space on the seventh floor features items inspired by Prada's past collections, including pleated skirts, Mary Jane shoes, and handbags designed by Miuccia Prada exclusively for the store. Each item bears the "Prada Dover Street Market New York" label. The opening interior, like the backdrop design for Prada's Spring/Summer 2014 show in Milan, was designed based on the creative project "In the Heart of the Multitude." Miles "El Mac" McGregor, Mesa, Gabriel Specter, Stinkfish, Jeanne Detallante, and Pierre Mornet participated in the project. The mannequins are also painted by Spector.
