The 2013 Spring/Summer collection of "GYAKUSOU," a collaboration between Nike and Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER, will be available on Saturday, March 9th. The brand's line combines Takahashi's "Less but Better" design philosophy with Nike's cutting-edge technology. This season's collection was designed to meet the cooling needs of runners in hot summers around the world, including Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius. The collection offers a collection that will keep your passion for running burning even in the sweltering heat. The collection's distinctive color palette blends the delicate tones of the city with natural hues, expressing the harmony between city and countryside in Jun Takahashi's signature style. Accent colors include vibrant mesa orange, deep victory green, and bright red-purple sangria pink, evoking the dynamic vibe of Rio's cityscape.

The men's base layer (underwear) collection, including 3/4-sleeve, short-sleeve, and sleeveless tops, utilizes no-sew technology to minimize the use of sewing threads through heat sealing on the front panels, preventing chafing even on long runs. Furthermore, breathable Dri-FIT fabric and Dri-FIT mesh are used, along with a coarse mesh panel pocket at the back hem, making for extremely light and highly breathable wear. The 5-inch shorts are made of water-repellent material to prevent weight buildup even with sweat. The four back pockets are perfectly sized to hold Takahashi's favorite "energy gels," essential for long runs.

The women's collection utilizes the same advanced technology as the men's collection, featuring a bold diamond pattern. The front of the base layer utilizes no-sew technology, while the short-sleeve top and tank are made of breathable, moisture-wicking Dri-FIT knit and Dri-FIT mesh, with a hidden zippered pocket near the back hem.

Footwear features a breathable single-layer mesh upper and the Nike LunarGlide+4, which offers high stability, comfort and cushioning, and is available in two colors for both men and women. The Nike LunarSpider, which combines high rebound and cushioning, is also part of the collection and is available in two unisex colors.
