There are clothes for travel, for work, and for special occasions—but few opportunities to consider what it means to dress for a pilgrimage.
Fashion is not only a form of self-expression; it can also be a gesture of respect toward a place and a moment in time. Through its first collaboration with Jingu Kaikan, the accommodation facility operated by the Association of Ise Jingu Worshippers, UNITED ARROWS has created a collection designed to accompany the unique experience of visiting Ise Jingu.

Available from June 5, 2026, the limited-edition collection is offered exclusively through Jingu Kaikan for visitors and guests staying at the property.
The project began with a simple request from Jingu Kaikan: to create meaningful souvenirs and practical items that would enrich the experience of visitors and overnight guests.
Drawing on its longstanding strengths in curation and product development, UNITED ARROWS translated its values of quality and refinement into the cultural experience of O-Ise Mairi—the traditional pilgrimage to Ise Jingu. Rather than creating conventional tourist merchandise, the brand sought to develop products that enhance the experience of the pilgrimage itself.
Located just a five-minute walk from the Inner Shrine (Naiku) of Ise Jingu, Jingu Kaikan has long welcomed pilgrims and travelers alike.
The facility is particularly known for its early-morning shrine tours, offering visitors the rare opportunity to experience the sacred grounds before the crowds arrive. Through hospitality, local cuisine, and a deep connection to the region, Jingu Kaikan has played an important role in supporting the pilgrimage experience.

This collaboration could only have emerged from such a place—where tourism and spirituality, everyday life and ritual, naturally intersect.
The collection focuses on the clothing and personal belongings that accompany a visit to Ise Jingu. It consists of three items: a fabric tote bag, a clasp pouch, and a necktie.
Combining practicality with understated elegance, the collection is designed both as a useful companion for visitors and as a meaningful keepsake from the pilgrimage.
Fabric Tote Bag
Inspired by traditional Japanese drawstring and carrying bags, the tote is crafted from nylon with the appearance and texture of a natural fabric. A gusseted construction provides ample storage, while synthetic leather handles add durability and refinement.

Clasp Pouch
The clasp pouch recalls the nostalgic charm of traditional Japanese accessories. Sized to fit a smartphone and equipped with card pockets, it combines functionality with a timeless silhouette. Deep navy fabric and gold-tone hardware are complemented by collaborative branding from Jingu Kaikan and UNITED ARROWS.

Necktie
The necktie stands as the symbolic centerpiece of the collection. Woven from 100% silk, the navy fabric reveals a subtle hanabishi motif depending on the angle of the light. The smaller blade features a discreet embroidered hanabishi pattern in UNITED ARROWS’ signature orange, creating an elegant detail that remains understated yet distinctive.
Suitable for both business and formal occasions, it reflects the collection’s balance of tradition and contemporary style.

In recent years, UNITED ARROWS has expanded its engagement with local communities and regional initiatives across Japan, using fashion as a way to communicate culture and place.
Its collaboration with Jingu Kaikan continues that approach, but with a different focus. Rather than highlighting tourism or regional revitalization, the project engages with one of Japan’s most significant spiritual destinations and introduces the idea of “pilgrimage attire.”
Clothing and personal accessories are not defined solely by function or aesthetics. They can also reflect how we approach a place, an experience, and a moment of reflection.
This collection invites visitors to consider not only what they wear, but also the mindset with which they arrive.
