MARC JACOBS will hold the limited-time MARC JACOBS RUNWAY 2026 POP-UP STORE at Center Park on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from September 2 to 8, 2026, presenting the RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION.

The RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION, available at only two locations worldwide, will be brought together for the special pop-up. The event will also introduce ready-to-wear and handbags available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku—the only place in the world where these pieces will be offered.
On the same day, a new MARC JACOBS store will open in TOKYO Closet on the second floor of the Main Building. As a new home for the brand takes shape at Isetan Shinjuku, the pop-up offers an opportunity to experience the runway collection at the heart of its creative vision.
The theme of the RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION is “MEMORY. LOSS.” Memories that resurface in unexpected moments. They take shape, influence our present selves, and sometimes even serve as clues to move forward into the future.
On the other hand, even when we try to reclaim the past, there are things that are lost. Rather than remaining in nostalgia, we must accept loss and still move forward into the future with hope. This collection embodies such complex emotions surrounding memory.

Sweet and bitter, beautiful and poignant. From the question of who we become through our memories, the collection turns toward what we create, what we leave behind, and what we carry with us into the future. Within the concise phrase “MEMORY. LOSS.” lies a perspective that looks beyond the past and toward what comes next.
Sensation and instinct provide another guiding force for the collection. It embraces thoughts and emotions that emerge from within, valuing and preserving them rather than attempting to hold memory in a perfectly intact form. Instead, feelings that shift over time—and sometimes remain precisely through what has been lost—are translated into creation.

This is not nostalgia intended to reproduce the past exactly as it was. Through memory and loss, the collection considers the present and asks what might be carried forward into the future. “MEMORY. LOSS.” can be seen as a translation into fashion of the emotions that exist in the space between past and future.
Among the highlights of the pop-up are exclusive pieces available nowhere else in the world but Isetan Shinjuku.
The ready-to-wear selection includes the Half Zip Long Sleeve Shirt (¥314,600) and Midi Skirt with Chain Belt (¥276,100), while the handbag lineup features The Runway J Link Shoulder Bag (¥315,700).

All three pieces are available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku worldwide. Together with the RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION—itself available at only a limited number of locations globally—the exclusives offer a closer encounter with the world of “MEMORY. LOSS.”
On September 2, the opening day of the pop-up, a new MARC JACOBS store will also open in TOKYO Closet on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The RUNWAY 2026 POP-UP STORE arrives alongside the beginning of this new chapter for the brand at the department store.

Perhaps memory is not something we simply leave behind in the past, but something we carry into the future as it continues to change form. Through “MEMORY. LOSS.,” Marc Jacobs reflects on memory and loss—and the rare runway collection and Isetan Shinjuku exclusives offer a glimpse into where that exploration stands today.
