CHANEL has announced that film director Buz Luhrmann will direct a new advertising film for its iconic fragrance, CHANEL No. 5. The muse will be Brazilian-born model Gisele Bundchen, renowned for her natural beauty and modern femininity. The film is scheduled for release at the end of 2014. Previous CHANEL No. 5 ads have been directed by directors such as Ridley Scott, Luc Besson, and Jean-Paul Goude. Luhrmann is an Australian film director whose work includes Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge!, and The Great Gatsby.
