Louis Vuitton has unveiled its new High Jewelry collection, "Spirit." This fourth collection, created by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Fine Jewelry for the Maison, perfectly captures the essence of the Louis Vuitton spirit with its bold, innovative and rarely seen style.

Comprising 125 dramatic pieces, the High Jewelry collection, "Spirit," is an epic journey into the essence of the Maison, guided by jewellery and inspired by the mythical creatures that inspire it, allowing the modern Louis Vuitton woman to identify with them.
Reflecting the Maison's pioneering spirit, innovation and desire to constantly break new ground, the collection brings together concepts that have been cherished since the Maison's founding: freedom, power, infinity, destiny and soaring to new heights. Francesca Amfitheatrov has created a collection of allegorical High Jewelry pieces, revisiting myths surrounding fantastic creatures for the 21st century and incorporating a highly contemporary interpretation of the Maison's symbols. "Like a phoenix rising from the ashes to soar into the sky, or a dragon breathing fire to defend itself, the Louis Vuitton woman radiates incredible strength, energy and optimism. It is this woman's desire to break free and who embodies the values of the Maison that I wanted to express in this collection," says Francesca.
Throughout this jewellery adventure, the triangle shape and the Louis Vuitton "V" appear throughout, expressing vitality and creating a new visual language that is both modern and impactful. "I used this shape in many of the pieces, exploring the possibilities of the triangle through variations in size. It can be read like the Louis Vuitton 'V', but also like an arrow, an ancient graphic symbol created by mankind - pointing the way and encouraging one to keep moving forward," Francesca explains. This gives the Spirit collection a pure graphic quality, its powerful beauty permeating the collection like a precious, vibrant energy, and serving as the link connecting all the pieces.
Louis Vuitton paired these unique designs with extraordinary gemstones. It took three years to source and assemble a stunning tsavorite weighing over 65 carats, along with perfectly matched Sri Lankan sapphires, Colombian emeralds, Mozambican rubies, and diamonds of impeccable clarity. This remarkable collection is composed of five themes, each corresponding to one of the Maison's values: Liberty, Grace, Fantasy, Radiance, and Destiny. Never before in Louis Vuitton's history has a High Jewelry collection contained so many pieces. Crafted over 40,000 hours ago, the Paris High Jewelry Atelier required exceptional skill and technical hurdles, but once again, they rose to the challenge by pushing their limits.

The freedom to explore and discover new worlds, the freedom to reveal one's innermost self. These 22 pieces bring together Louis Vuitton's bold creativity to transgress the traditional design codes of High Jewellery. The incredibly magnificent Star piece is a necklace reminiscent of armour, and contains a secret message. Louis Vuitton has reinterpreted the Damier pattern, creating a mosaic of custom-cut square and triangle diamonds, overlaid with a hinge motif inspired by the Maison's iconic trunks. The piece, whose interlocking geometry allows the piece to move freely and shimmer like rippling waves, is brought to life by a series of Colombian emeralds, the largest of which weighs 8.90 carats, and a single 2.60-carat D VVS1 diamond in the Maison's signature LV Monogram Flower cut.

The necklace's centerpiece is an extremely rare 18.08-carat Sri Lankan sapphire, bathed in an incomparable royal blue. The "Liberty" necklace is paired with a ring featuring a 10.41-carat sapphire surrounded by triangle-cut diamonds. Two other jewelry sets featuring diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires—each with a more minimalist design than the necklace—complete the "Liberty" theme.

The phoenix's wings, spreading along the nape of the neck, are a metaphor for the Louis Vuitton woman, reborn and soaring, seeking to discover new ground and reach new heights. The perfect balance between strength and grace is what gives birth to this magnificent winged necklace. A tribute to the mastery of the Maison's High Jewelry Atelier, its design is composed of two "Vs": one set with a custom-cut baguette diamond, the other with a twisted metal torque set with a round brilliant-cut diamond. The torques, thanks to a white gold interlocking mechanism made possible by exceptional craftsmanship, form a rounded curve at the top of the neck.

The curves of this "Grace" necklace culminate in a breathtaking 65.26-carat East African tsavorite. The perfectly pure stone, radiating an almost unreal pure green glow, can be separated from the necklace and worn as a pendant.

To accompany this masterpiece, which took artisans more than 2,000 hours to complete, Louis Vuitton has also created two jewelry sets, each gracefully contoured entirely with diamonds: a choker, a ring, a ring and a bracelet.

Louis Vuitton is a Maison that embraces the traveler's desire to explore the world without settling in one place. A dazzling manifesto of this wanderlust is this piece, which skillfully combines a yellow gold herringbone motif with diamond-paved triangles and a white gold "V." The two distinct colors and textures of this double-strand necklace create a mesmerizing design, seemingly flowing like a dazzling torrent across the skin. The perfect geometric pattern of the herringbone accentuates the Louis Vuitton "V" and recalls the arrowhead motif featured in the Maison's previous high jewelry collections.

A striking 2.56-carat LV Monogram flower-cut diamond, this necklace can be worn three ways. The matching ring is equally captivating, with an 8.73-carat D FL round-cut diamond set atop a gold herringbone motif, seemingly peering out at the wearer... A long necklace, earrings, ring, and cuff bracelet designed in the same concept complete the "Fantasy" family.

This magnificent necklace is designed to protect women who forge their own paths in life. A second skin crafted of gold and platinum, symbolizing the wild and mysterious essence that lies dormant within each of us, and the fire and passion that erupts from within. Each component of this piece has been meticulously assembled to create a subtle, indented checkerboard pattern that blends perfectly with the skin.

The pyramidal structure enhances the sparkle of each mirror-polished yellow gold piece, while the overall brilliance is accentuated by the diamond apex. The necklace's central setting, a 10.99-carat spessartine garnet, radiates a bright, fiery orange glow. The power of Radiance is also infused into the matching cuff, pendant and earrings. Completing this striking chapter are two rings, each featuring spessartine garnets (14.73 and 18.72 carats respectively).

This striking, architecturally-charged jewelry set is a tribute to Louis Vuitton's powerful legacy. The recurring pattern of the triangle shape and the indispensable V motif demonstrates the richness of this legacy. The ultra-graphic Destiny necklace features a stunning openwork structure, combining diamond-studded triangles with LV Monogram flower-cut diamonds. The entire piece is brought to life by a multitude of fiery red Mozambican rubies. The most exceptional of these rubies is a stone over 10 carats, cut in an emerald, an extremely rare cut for a ruby. Its distinctive red color is unmistakably pure, combining high brightness and saturation.

The ruby is removable and can be worn as a specially designed solitaire ring, along with the removable diamond that dangles from the necklace. In addition to this exceptional necklace, Louis Vuitton has also created other pieces on this theme: a diamond and ruby triple-strand necklace, a variety of earrings, rings, bracelets, and a brooch.

The theme also includes a cohesive diamond jewelry set, featuring dazzling, elegant pieces based on triangular shapes, such as a solitaire ring set with a 10.88 carat emerald-cut D FL diamond.

The Spirit collection enriches Louis Vuitton's visual vocabulary while demonstrating the Maison's mastery of virtuosity unrivaled in contemporary High Jewelry. This extraordinary high jewelry collection will be showcased in an installation conceived by the Campana brothers, the renowned Brazilian design duo who have collaborated with the Maison since the creation of the Objet Nomade collection in 2012.
