MARNI's pop-up store, "MARNI MARKET HOUSE," will open on the 3rd floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store from December 7th to 13th. The store will feature "MARNI HAPPY BIRDS," a winter-only collection created through artistic collaboration between Marni and Colombian artisans who have achieved independence and freedom through their work. Each bird, crafted from a colorful combination of wood and metal, uniquely represents five iconic female artists of the last century: Frida Kahlo, Alice Neel, Georgia O'Keeffe, Louise Bourgeois, and Carol Lama. In addition to MARNI HAPPY BIRDS, the store will also offer a special home collection featuring colorful handmade brooches and small leather goods, perfect for special gifts, as well as chairs, coffee tables, and a plant-based vase made from hand-woven PVC cord, which debuted at Milan Design Week in 2016.
