Bacardi Japan has been offering an original cocktail collection in collaboration with fashion brands since October 9th, in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO (MBFWT), which will be held mainly at Shibuya Hikarie. This project, called "MBFWT Designer's Cocktail Runway," sees participating brands produce original cocktails using Bacardi rum and premium gin Bombay Sapphire. This year marks the fourth year since the project began in 2013. This season, in addition to last year's participating brands, alice auaa and A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT, SOMARTA and HANAE MORI are also participating. Based on the theme of "retro-modern," the cocktails incorporate the brand's unique worldview. Alice auaa's "silent" is based on Bombay Sapphire. The black pepper on the rim of the glass and the black olives sunk to the bottom evoke the sensuality of a silent movie. Somarta's "Amrita" is inspired by nectar from Indian mythology. It's a fruity drink characterized by a gradation of color that spreads from the cherry at the bottom of the glass. Hanae Mori's "PAPILLON" is a fantastical violet-colored cocktail that embodies the brand's concept of "elegance, elegance, and dignity" and its iconic butterfly. A degree Fahrenheit's "Fahrenheit (37.89°F)" offers a refreshing lime flavor. The blue surface is accented with mercury-inspired olive oil, creating a mystical impression. The annual MBFWT-created "MBFWT Original Recipe Cocktail" is a fragrant "Cuba Libre" made with cinnamon-flavored Bacardi and cola. The eye-catching cherry decoration, resembling a hairpin, is eye-catching. These cocktails will be available for a limited time until October 22nd at some cafes and restaurants on the 6th, 7th, and 11th floors of Shibuya Hikarie, as well as at UPSTAIRS, the restaurant and bar on the 7th floor of Mercedes-Benz Connectiong TOKYO. There will also be a gift campaign where customers who order the designated cocktails will be entered into a lottery to win original products from participating brands.
