To celebrate the launch, a campaign will begin on October 30, 2020.
As part of this campaign, the official website (https://www.preciousplatinum.jp) will feature a gallery of the "Platinum Woman" collections released by each company, as well as an original movie starring ambassador Tabe Mikako. In this original movie, Mikako Tabe plays a woman who, while facing her true self, sometimes feels anxious and lonely, but finds courage in platinum and sets out to live a powerful life. Narrated by Tabe herself, the movie's careful editing creates a documentary-style portrayal of her journey toward becoming the person she wants to be. We'll also be running a giveaway campaign on Instagram, offering a chance to win a "high-quality cashmere knit that complements platinum jewelry" selected by popular stylist Setsuko Todoroki, as well as original Platinum Guild International merchandise. Q. For modern working women, you sometimes play roles that are life-sized for you, but what does "being yourself" mean to you?
I can't really lie... maybe that's it? lol But I feel like I live my life honestly.
I spend time with family and friends, people who won't back down even if I show my true self, so I feel like I can just be myself.
Q. The movie depicts a woman facing herself. When do you usually face yourself deeply?
I feel like I face myself more when I'm with friends than when I'm alone.
I often realize things about myself during conversations, like, "Oh, so that's how I really think," or "My opinion on this is consistent." Rather than worrying deeply about something alone, I often talk about it with my friends and realize things anew. So I think having people like that around me is really important.
・I'm attracted to values that are loved across time. Now is the time to be honest and true to yourself.

"Stability/Loved across time." I'm attracted to this value in everything. As with jewelry, I think it's best to wear something that you can wear for a long time and never get tired of. Simple things are what others find beautiful. In that sense, I think "stable things" are important.
Q. As the ambassador for "Platinum Woman," you played a woman who is resilient and hardworking despite her anxieties. I'd like a message of encouragement from you, Tabe, to the women who will watch the video and are struggling with various conflicts or who are trying to find their own individuality and move forward.
In today's world, where so much is happening, be honest and don't lie to yourself about your feelings. Be true to yourself and express your true feelings to someone without deceiving those around you. I hope that we can live in a world where we can solve various problems with people who accept us.
