On June 20, 2026, Dolce&Gabbana presented its Spring/Summer 2027 Men’s Collection.
This season’s theme is “VACANZE SICILIANE,” or “Sicilian Holidays.” Yet what the collection portrayed was not simply resortwear or a Mediterranean vacation. At its heart was a return to Sicily, the origin of the brand itself, and a renewed reflection on the cultural roots that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have continued to explore throughout their creative journey.

For Dolce&Gabbana, Sicily is more than a source of inspiration. It is Domenico Dolce’s homeland and a spiritual home that has shaped the brand’s aesthetics and sensibility.

Located at the heart of the Mediterranean, Sicily has long been a crossroads of civilizations, from ancient Greek and Roman cultures to Arab and Norman influences. Over centuries, layers of architecture, religion, craftsmanship, and cultural memory have formed the island’s distinctive identity.

This collection translates that multilayered Sicilian culture into contemporary menswear.
The show unfolds as the story of a traveler.
Yet this journey is not toward an unknown destination. Rather, it is framed as a journey of rediscovering one’s roots.

Ancient Greek temples. The Baroque architecture of the Val di Noto. The mosaics of Monreale Cathedral. The ancient theatre of Taormina. These historic landscapes of Sicily appear throughout the collection not as direct quotations, but through color, texture, and silhouette.

The sea and stone towns. Strong sunlight and deep shadow. The elegance born from those contrasts becomes the core of “VACANZE SICILIANE.”
The show opened with a series of all-black looks known as “Nero Sicilia.”

Black holds a special meaning within Dolce&Gabbana. Since the brand’s founding, it has appeared repeatedly as a symbol of Sicilian tradition, pride, and strength. Jackets and shirts shaped through refined tailoring felt structured yet never heavy. Instead, they carried a softness that followed the movement of the body.

From there, the show gradually shifted into color: blues and turquoise recalling the sea, pistachio green, neutral tones reminiscent of sand and limestone, and delicate shades evoking Sicilian granita. The collection concluded with all-white looks, leaving behind a refreshing sense of arrival, as if the journey had reached its final destination.
What stood out throughout the season was a sense of lightness.
Tailoring was softly reconstructed, centered on relaxed silhouettes. Lightweight cotton, linen, crochet knit, woven suede, and silk brought textures that seemed to carry the atmosphere of summer the moment they touched the skin.

Knit elements were introduced into polo shirts, jackets, and classic shirts, blurring the boundary between formal and relaxed dressing. Silk swimwear, crochet pieces, chevron-striped knits, and linen jackets drew inspiration from the style of early modern travelers who visited Sicily from the 1950s to the early 1960s.
Rather than nostalgia, the collection proposed a new form of resort elegance for today.
Prints featuring Sicilian landscapes and lemons also appeared throughout the collection.
They were not simply touristic images. Like old postcards, they functioned as devices that evoke the memory of place and the emotion of travel.

Although rich in decoration, they never felt excessive, blending naturally into the broader wardrobe.
“VACANZE SICILIANE” is not merely a collection themed around Sicily.
Rather, it can be understood as a translation of Sicilian culture itself into clothing. Craftsmanship. History. Light. Color. Everyday life. Dolce&Gabbana does not use these elements simply as decoration, but continues to speak through them as expressions of its own identity.

That is why this collection is both a proposal for summer dressing and a story of the brand returning to its own origins. What “VACANZE SICILIANE” depicted was not travel, but homecoming.
Once again, Dolce&Gabbana begins a new story from Sicily, the place it calls home.
