Event Date:2020.01.29-02.14
Dec 17, 2019
Ginza Mitsukoshi will be holding the "GINZA Sweets Collection 2020" from January 29th to February 14th, 2020, in the 7th floor event hall, with the theme of "HEARTFUL FACTORY," featuring 64 brands of chocolates and sweets that can only be tasted here.

Choki Tokyo

The focus will be on the chocolates making their first appearance at Ginza Mitsukoshi. Choki Tokyo, a specialty chocolate ball shop made by a French chocolatier that opened in Yotsuya in 2018, will be opening its first store, and will offer a bulk sales style where customers can bag their favorites. This time, the lineup includes 23 popular flavors, including the Ginza Mitsukoshi exclusive "Almond Strawberry Vanilla" (90g, 2,673 yen including tax), which is made by wrapping roasted almonds in almond chocolate and topping them off with French strawberry chocolate. Enjoy making your own original gifts with these new chocolate balls, which are vibrantly colored despite being uncolored and made with carefully selected ingredients.

Pâtisserie E's "Amazon Cocoa Butter Sandwich" (481 yen incl. tax), "Caramel Butter Sandwich" (401 yen incl. tax), "Burnt Butter Cheese Sandwich" (401 yen incl. tax), "Tropical Butter Sandwich" (401 yen incl. tax)
Oyama Keisuke, who is in charge of desserts at the Michelin-starred French restaurant Cynthia, which is difficult to book into, and who is scheduled to open Pâtisserie E's in March 2020, also appeared at the event as a pre-debut. Items on offer include the Ginza Mitsukoshi-exclusive "Amazon Cacao Cream Puffs" (3 pieces for 1,561 yen including tax), made with Amazon cacao, and the "Amazon Cacao Butter Sandwich" (481 yen including tax), made entirely with Amazon cacao, from the sable to the butter cream and sauce inside.

Arnaud Larher Paris "Kouign Aman Chocolat" (432 yen including tax)
Event-exclusive sweets will also be available at the venue. From Arnaud Larher Paris's popular butter-scented Kouign Aman, the limited-edition "Kouign Aman Chocolat" (432 yen including tax) is available, boasting a rich chocolate aroma in addition to the butter. It's a luxurious treat filled with chunks of gianduja.

Chocolat au Carre "Chocolat Assorted Pralines" (9 pieces, 3,240 yen including tax)
Don't forget to check out their authentic chocolate selection. From Choco au Carre, you can enjoy a variety of flavors, including coffee, sesame, and hazelnut, with the "Coffret Mimosa "Organic JAS"" (12 pieces, 3,888 yen including tax), an assortment of new flavors, including fragrant hazelnut pralines made with specially roasted beans.

Mammon & Fille's "Cha te Chocolat" (9 pieces, 4,860 yen including tax)
In addition, Mammon & Fille's, which will be open until February 6th, will be selling "Cha te Chocolat" (9 pieces, 4,860 yen including tax), a bonbon made by fully bringing out the aroma and flavor of nine types of Chinese and Taiwanese tea, and Darique, which will be opening its store from February 7th, will be selling "Hatsuharumi" (6 pieces, 2,700 yen including tax), a raw chocolate that is made with the utmost care to bring out the flavor of the cacao beans, and "Matcha" (6 pieces, The limited edition boxes and flavors available only at Ginza Mitsukoshi are also not to be missed.
