ANREALAGE will release the second collaboration sneaker with Onitsuka Tiger, the "MONTE CREASE SLIP-ON" (15,800 yen), on December 8th.
For this collaboration, ANREALAGE designer Kunihiko Morinaga has updated the "MONTE CREASE," which is based on the design of Onitsuka Tiger's hiking shoes from the 1950s, into a clog-type shoe.
Incorporating the essence of "POWER," the theme of ANREALAGE's 2018 Spring/Summer Paris Collection, the strap on the upper (vamp) uses a special material called "stress-luminescent material," which has the property of emitting light when energy is applied from external forces such as bending and stretching. The unique design converts the force applied when wearing the sneakers into light in the dark, instantly emitting light.
Stress-luminescent material stores energy and emits it as light when force is applied, and does not require a power source, indicating the area where force is applied by converting it into light.
The force applied to the shoe from everyday movements such as walking and running is made visible by light in the dark, allowing you to see the applied force.
The "Monte Crease Slip-On" will be available in two colors, white x white and black x black, and will be on sale from December 8th at Onitsuka Tiger directly managed stores in Japan and overseas, the Onitsuka Tiger Magazine online store, the ANREALAGE flagship store, the ANREALAGE WEB SHOP, and the ANREALAGE ZOZOTOWN.
