Fashion model Irina Lazareanu was born on June 8, 1982. She was originally from Romania and grew up in Quebec, Canada. She currently resides in the UK.
At the age of 13, she moved to London to study ballet. At 15, she met musician Pete Doherty and performed with him. She was engaged to him twice, but never married.
In 2004, she made her runway debut in a French fashion show. With the support of Pete's girlfriend at the time, Kate Moss, she appeared in French Vogue and attracted attention.
In 2006, she appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue, photographed by photographer Steven Meisel, and became a top model. She has since appeared in advertisements for Chanel, Roberto Cavalli, Saks Fifth Avenue, and more. She currently walks in shows for Dior and Yohji Yamamoto.
