"Takahashi Makoto: The Classic - The Origin of Girl Paintings, Commemorating 65 Years of Her Artistic Career" is currently being held at the Ginza Mitsukoshi Gallery on the 7th floor.
From the 1960s to the present, artist Takahashi Makoto has been painting the girls of her dreams. At the 2018 Spring/Summer Paris Women's Collection held in October 2017, she collaborated with COMME des GARÇONS to create clothing featuring Takahashi Makoto's illustrations, which garnered significant attention.
To commemorate the artist's 65th anniversary, the exhibition unveiled new original artwork and giclées. New cushion covers, dresses, tights, and socks featuring the artwork are also available for purchase. The exhibition runs until February 6th.
