The new "slip-on sneakers" (65,000 yen) from discord, the accessory brand of Yohji Yamamoto, launched in spring 2014, are chic and elegant enough to transcend the conventional notion of a sneaker. This season's second collection features a new design that combines opposing elements—straight lines and curves, symmetry and asymmetry—in a monochrome world. The combination of different materials—cowhide leather kip on the upper and canvas on the heel—creates a unique line with a different fit between the front and back. The simple, all-black design, stripped of unnecessary details, further accentuates the silhouette. Available sizes range from 23.0cm to 25.0cm.
