sacai presented its SS15 collection in the form of a mini-show at a ballroom on Rue de Turenne in the Marais-North. The main theme was overlay. A fresh look was achieved by layering a cotton-linen jacket over gingham shorts and a shirt, then a gingham blouson. Layering wasn't limited to individual pieces; it extended to different patterns as well. A seersucker gingham shirt, jacket, and shorts were layered with a nylon blouson in a similar stripe, showcasing a play on color coordination and silhouette. Graphically arranged camouflage patterns were printed on traditional fabrics like blackwatch and pinstripe. These touches strongly evoked the maison's signature style of modernizing existing pieces.
