Rick Owens' Spring/Summer 2015 men's show took place in the Palais de Chaillot ballroom. The show was inspired by the controversial 1912 film "Afternoon of a Faun," the first starring role for Russian ballet dancer and choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky. The models, painted entirely in white, gray, and green, and the belt-like costumes left a striking impression. The inspiration came from the outfit worn by Nijinsky in "Afternoon of a Faun" when chasing the nymphs. The long tops, made from a mix of different materials, also featured ribbon-like elements. Harness-like accessories added a bondage element. Denim, a trendy material, was tailored into dress-like tops, characteristic of the house, showcasing a unique hand-dyed texture. Another eye-catching item was a top embroidered with an illustration of Pan, a character from "Afternoon of a Faun," showing her artistic side.
