A pop-up shop for T-shirt label Tacoma Fuji Records will be open at White Mountaineering (2-7-1 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) from August 9th to 17th.
In addition to new releases from Tacoma Fuji Records, original T-shirts (¥5,500) featuring a collaboration with White Mountaineering will be available in gray and white. Original caps (¥3,500) will be available in a white and blue combination and navy.
Tacoma Fuji Records was founded in 2008 by Tomoo Watanabe, who served as a visual planner and coordinator for a record label for about 10 years. While the label aims to introduce high-quality music, it produces "fictitious music" and does not actually have any music. However, the label's versatility allows it to suddenly release T-shirts featuring real graphic designers and artists, unrelated to the label's mission.
