Nike will release the new Nike Air Force 1 Ultraforce Mid (14,000 yen) on January 5, 2017. This model is a reimagining of the Nike Air Force 1, a shoe that first debuted in 1982 and incorporates innovative basketball features. Following on from the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit, the lightest Air Force 1 ever released in the spring season last year, the new model features a breathable bootie, a longer tongue, and a reflective pull tab, making it easier than ever to put on and take off. The shoe also features luxurious, breathable mesh and soft leather, an ultra-lightweight midsole, and lining and core in the heel and midfoot for improved lightness, comfort, and fit. While retaining the iconic mid-cut silhouette, the new design provides enhanced ankle stability.
