The show took place in Florence, Italy, the birthplace of Gucci and a time when Renaissance culture flourished. The Palatine Gallery, a historic building, was chosen as part of the "Primavera di Boboli" cultural project, an ongoing collaboration between Gucci and the city of Florence and the Uffizi Gallery, famous for its Renaissance paintings. This marks the first time that the Palatine Gallery has been used as the venue for a fashion show.
