On February 13, 2026, KAMIYA presented its Fall Winter 2026 collection at GARDEN Shin-Kiba FACTORY in Tokyo. Within the industrial setting, guests gathered as the space held a quiet tension before the show began. This season’s theme, “ACT - COOL,” was introduced through Koji Kamiya’s collection note, which opens with the words, “Being cool had, at some point, become something expected.”

Before the runway began, tobi lou appeared on stage dressed in pink. Standing against an intense spotlight, he performed live, his voice and rhythm gradually filling the space. Sound emerged within the stillness, and the presentation unfolded alongside the live performance.

As the sound continued, the models entered the runway. Kamiya’s words, “Aware of the gaze, continuing to choose what feels right. Yet it is a form one believes they chose themselves,” appeared to take shape through the presence of the body—composed, yet carrying a subtle tension within its posture.

The models moved in rhythm with the live performance. Clothing did not appear in isolation, but in relation to sound, body, and space, existing within the same continuous moment.

The collection note also describes a state that is “distorted despite being composed, and heated despite being quiet.” On the runway, the body maintained balance while suggesting movement within. What appeared was not a fixed image, but a condition unfolding in real time.

The presentation progressed without offering a definitive conclusion, and gradually came to a close. The question posed in the collection note—“Is that sensation you wear truly your own?”—remained not as an answer, but as an experience. At Shin-Kiba FACTORY, KAMIYA presented not only garments, but the sensation of being cool itself, as something to be perceived through the body.
