Sleeping fox chocolate. A cute souvenir from Paris. [EDITOR'S BLOG]

This is the final installment of our gift introduction series. For the last one, we'll introduce a gift that our editorial team actually received!

A fashion journalist living in Paris, who is always helpful to the FASHION HEADLINE editorial team, gave us chocolates from Yann Couvreur pâtisserie in Paris as a gift when he returned to Japan.

The packaging was a dusky mint green box with a gold-printed fox pattern. If you look closely, you'll see baked goods in the fox's mouth. The elegant yet playful design has already captured your heart, but when you open the box...

Inside the box, there are five foxes sleeping peacefully, curled up! You'll be mesmerized by their adorable appearance.

The sleeping foxes, with their elegant, smooth lines, have a very elegant and beautiful appearance, despite being an animal motif.

Its cute appearance might make you hesitate to eat it, but one bite and all your hesitation will be forgotten! It's a chocolate from Paris, the city of sweets (and of course fashion), as you'd expect.

Crunchy hazelnut-flavored praline is hidden within the bitter chocolate, and a hint of salt brings out the gorgeous aroma and richness of the hazelnuts. It's rich yet not too sweet, with a slightly mature flavor that will have you reaching for another one.

This patisserie is not available in Japan, so if you have plans to visit Paris in the near future, including around the New Year holidays, be sure to check it out.
