The February issue of Vogue Japan, on sale from December 26th, will feature an interview with Rei Kawakubo, the head of COMME des GARÇONS, in the "WOMAN'S WORLD" feature. Editor-in-Chief Watanabe Mitsuko asks her about her strength, the source of her creativity, and her business plans as a business owner. The feature focuses on women active in a variety of fields, including fashion, politics, business, and culture. Female designers featured include Alessandra Facchinetti, the new designer of TOD'S; Frida Giannini, creative director of Gucci; and Abe Chitose, designer and owner of sacai. They talk about the work philosophy that goes into their creations.
