
Valentino will publish "VALENTINO: OBJECTS OF COUTURE" (Rizzoli), a book focusing on the brand's accessories. Edited by art critic Francesco Bonami, the book features photographs and artworks of over 300 accessories from the brand's collection by a variety of artists, including David Bailey, Luisa Lambri, Nobuyoshi Araki, Duane Michaels, Scheltens & Abenes, Philip Lorca diCorcia, and Douglas Gordon. Art direction was handled by REM (Ruini e Mariotti), an Italian art direction agency that also handles advertising visuals. The deluxe edition will cost $135 (available only at Valentino boutiques), while the standard edition will cost $75. The book will be on sale during Paris Fashion Week.
