Arc'teryx will begin selling women's clothing on October 3rd at the Urban Closet on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. In addition, an Arc'teryx 24 pop-up store will be open for a limited time until the 16th.

Arc'teryx's history began in 1989 in Vancouver, Canada, when climber Dave Lane and his friend Jeremy Gard founded the company "Rock Solid," which manufactured and sold harnesses. In 1991, the company name was changed to "Arc'teryx," and a logo based on the Archaeopteryx (Archaeopteryx) fossil was adopted. The brand launched backpacks in 1994 and footwear in 2015. Throughout its more than 20-year history, it has consistently pursued the highest quality products that deliver optimal performance.
For Fall/Winter 2018, the focus is on outerwear and colorways. The company has enhanced its established coat line and now offers a wide variety of styles to complement changing weather conditions. Drawing on outdoor expertise, the coats are designed with lightweight construction in mind, making them stylish yet durable enough for extended wear. The colors are selected by a dedicated colorist based on data accumulated over years, and even colors that seem unfamiliar at first glance are known for blending seamlessly into the wearer. Each coat is designed to suit the sophisticated, mature woman or the urban working woman.

Arc'teryx 24, which will open a pop-up store, will offer products with refined designs that incorporate details and materials that Arc'teryx has cultivated in harsh mountain environments into the city. The theme is "Wearing true functionality in everyday life," and this pop-up store will offer a wide range of coats that are packed with sophisticated designs and true functionality.
Why not come and experience the unique colors and functionality of Arc'teryx in store?
