
Lady Gaga attended the Los Angeles Fashion Awards with her stylist and fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, who also served as a presenter. Gaga and Brandon attended the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards, hosted by Daily Front Row magazine, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on the 20th (local time). Gaga presented Brandon's award for Best Designer Debut. Gaga also wore a white dress designed by Brandon when she performed "Til It Happens to You," a song nominated for Best Original Song, at the 88th Academy Awards on February 28th (local time). Brandon thanked Gaga on Instagram, writing, "You are the best friend a little gay boy with dreams could have. I love you more than an Instagram post can express." Gaga herself was awarded the Editor of the Year for her work as a guest editor at V Magazine, and accepted the Fashion Icon Award on behalf of Karl Lagerfeld, who was absent from the ceremony.
