On November 28, 2025, Ami Paris opened AMI PARIS POP-UP STORE AND LE CAFÉ AMI in the heart of Omotesando. The year-long pop-up occupies two floors totaling 136 square meters, conceived as a warm, welcoming “Parisian home” that brings the brand’s cherished sense of community directly into Tokyo.

A Second Parisian Home Filled with Warmth and Playfulness
Designed around the theme of a nostalgic yet playfully reimagined “second Parisian home,” the pop-up expresses Ami Paris’ effortless sensibility and optimistic energy.
The exterior evokes Haussmann-style Parisian architecture, complete with flower-lined balconies, a softly gleaming zinc-inspired roof, and Parisian street signage that gently guides visitors into the brand’s poetic world.

Inside, signature materials found in Ami Paris boutiques—beige lime paint, light oak wood, and parquet flooring—create a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic Parisian bistro. Throughout the year, the space will transform seasonally, presenting an ever-evolving retail and cultural experience.



A Red Balloon and Its Story — The Poetic Symbol of Ami Paris
At the center of the façade stands a small boy holding a red Ami de Cœur balloon. The figure draws inspiration from founder and Creative Director Alexandre Mattiussi’s childhood imagination and pays homage to Albert Lamorisse’s iconic short film Le Ballon Rouge (The Red Balloon).

The character embodies the brand’s sense of poetry and freedom, inviting visitors to reconnect with the wonder and innocence of early memories.



Le Café Ami — A Taste of the Ami Paris Story
Inside the store, Le Café Ami offers a relaxed and welcoming café experience. Supervised by Ogawa Coffee, the menu features refined hot and cold beverages alongside seasonal specials.Highlights include the fragrant Cinnamon Cappuccino, the richly layered Hot Chocolate, and the refreshing Cranberry Apple Tea—each crafted to reflect the mood and colors of the season.

The pastry and dessert selection presents whimsical creations inspired by Ami Paris motifs and the brand’s latest collections. Ami de Cœur details appear throughout, turning the café menu into a story that can be both seen and savored.


A Year in Three Chapters — Beginning with “A Magical World”
The pop-up unfolds across three thematic chapters over the course of a year, with each chapter introducing a renewed façade and café menu.The opening chapter, “A Magical World,” expresses Ami Paris’ belief that “the child within us never disappears.”The small boy symbolizes curiosity and freedom—an invitation for visitors to rediscover the dreams and emotions that once lived quietly inside them.

Fall/Winter 2025 Collections, Ami Holidays, and the First Kids Items
To celebrate the opening, the store presents selections from the Fall/Winter 2025 women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, alongside the festive Ami Holidays capsule. A limited-edition teddy bear from Ami Holidays welcomes visitors at the entrance.

This year also marks the debut of the brand’s first kids’ items, as well as popular homeware pieces such as Ami Paris mugs—extending the brand’s warmth and Parisian elegance to an even wider audience.
