Yohji Yamamoto presented its 2015-16 Fall/Winter Men's Collection at Paris Fashion Week on January 22nd. In the first look, a model sporting soot-like makeup wore a loose-fitting double-breasted jacket and wide-leg pants. The hem was raw, a signature all-black look, consistent with Yohji Yamamoto's signature chic. Next came a patchwork of different materials. A tweed suit featured shiny fabrics on the pockets and knees, adding depth to the black-on-black combination. The brand also showcased intricate patterns, such as partial cutouts on the crotch and sides of the jacket, jackets with half-jointed pieces in gray, blue, and red, and pants with slashes reminiscent of perforations. A deep pond-like marble print made a striking impression. Model Rui Kurihara, who made her Paris Collection debut in Yohji Yamamoto's Spring/Summer 2015 collection, also made an appearance.
