Valentino has unveiled its Fall 2016 collection, created by creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. Based on a Japonisme concept incorporating the concept of "wabi-sabi," the collection proposes a style that allows for free interpretation of each piece, combining a variety of unique elements, such as the worn texture of denim and motifs of hearts, musical notes, butterflies, the universe, the sky, and clouds. Furthermore, "ROCKSTUD UNTITLED," a unisex capsule collection consisting of 12 classic wardrobe pieces, reinterprets "wabi-sabi" through the Maison's savoir-faire, using studs to express the traditional Japanese technique of "kintsugi."
