The Kering Group, which owns brands such as Gucci and Saint Laurent, has entered into a partnership with American professional surfer Kelly Slater.

Kering will partner with Slater to support operations such as material procurement, logistics, and e-commerce in establishing his apparel brand. Slater will be involved in the group's and brand's initiatives as a Kering ambassador.

Kelly Slater was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1972. While active as a professional surfer on the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) World Tour, he has also produced and starred in films such as "The Ultimate Wave Tahiti" and "Waveriders."
