Louis Vuitton and Hiroshi Fujiwara's collaboration store at Isetan Men's, interior design inspired by The Parking Ginza

Jun 24, 2016

LOUIS VUITTON will open a limited-time store selling the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Men's Collection in the Promotion section on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from July 6th to 19th.

The store will be curated by fragment design, headed by Hiroshi Fujiwara. In addition to ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories from the Louis Vuitton 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Men's Collection, the store will also feature limited-edition Monogram Eclipse leather goods created in collaboration with fragment design. Inspired by Malle Courrier, a well-known design from the Louis Vuitton archives, Monogram Eclipse, which was newly featured in the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Men's Collection show, is characterized by the contrast of gray and black shades. The interior of the venue, made with deliberately rough materials such as concrete and frosted glass, combines Louis Vuitton's "Future Heritage" inspiration for this season with the atmosphere of THE PARK・ING GINZA, a concept store directed by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton Men's Collection, commented on the store, "Tokyo is a special city that always inspires me, and I have many important friends living there. I wanted to express my collection from a different angle this time, so I asked Hiroshi Fujiwara, one of my heroes, to curate the store." Hiroshi Fujiwara also said, "This collaboration with Kim has been on the cards for 20 years, but the timing has never been better—now, here, and now—and I am truly honored."

In addition, from July 6th to 12th, the items will also be available at the men's shoes section on the first basement floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.
