Magazine House 70th Anniversary! Culture magazine "relax" is republished in collaboration with "Legacy"

Oct 7, 2015

To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Magazine House has launched the "Relax Special Revival Project" in collaboration with Subaru's Legacy. The official website was launched on October 1st. "Relax" is a culture magazine that ceased publication in 2006. In the 2000s, it gained popularity as a unique cultural magazine, incorporating street cultures like graffiti art and skateboarding, as well as the rise of Ura-Harajuku. The decision to revive the magazine was made possible thanks to the content production capabilities that are unique to "Relax," the passion of those who were influenced by the magazine at the time, and the support of Subaru's Legacy, which shares the magazine's values. The editor-in-chief will be Toshiko Nakajima (currently editor-in-chief of GINZA), who served as deputy editor-in-chief of "Relax" at the time. Former editor-in-chief Hitoshi Okamoto and manga artist and columnist Naokaku Shibuya are also scheduled to participate as guest editors. In the future, information will be posted on the official website.
