Designer Junko Sakayori's 2014 Spring/Summer collection is inspired by 1950s fashion. It mixes rock-inspired boyish styles with cute girlish styles, featuring light, spring-like fabrics. The vibrant color palette, evoking a sense of the times and spring, features canary yellow and ivy green. Dresses and skirts feature three-dimensional small floral embroidery and linen lace, as well as striped shirts, tailored jackets, and tie-print striped dresses. The sheer houndstooth dress and camouflage lamé jacquard pieces have sharp silhouettes that don't feel overly sexy. Sheer knee-high socks and the collaboration sneakers with PATRICK, a Sakayori staple, are featured for styling. This season, for the first time, the collection's atmosphere is expressed through a video.
