NARS' fall/winter makeup collection features bold, sexy items inspired by the 1970s. The single eyeshadows (¥2,625 each) come in four shades inspired by different parts of the world, including the smoky navy "2081" and matte gray "2082." The Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (¥3,150) comes in two shades: the vibrant crimson "2477" (limited quantity) and the pale pink "2476." The Pure Matte Lipstick comes in two shades: the bold purple "3523" (limited quantity) and the brownish pink "3522." Both the lip pencil and lipstick have a matte finish when used alone, but adding gloss for a different look creates a different look. All products will be released on August 16th. German model Toni Garrn was chosen for the advertising visuals. She created a smoky eye look by applying Single Eyeshadow 2081 all over the eyelid and along the lower lash line, and created a glamorous lip look with Velvet Matte Lip Pencil 2477 (limited quantity). The makeup direction and photography were handled by Francois Nars, the founder of the brand.
